How can I take control over holiday desserts when there are so many good things to eat?

I mean there will be three to four desserts that I will want to have but how do I control myself to only have one and not that much of it...I really can not eat too much sugar and I have no willpower!!!!How can I take control over holiday desserts when there are so many good things to eat?
Tell someone you are eating with to help monitor you, but not in a way that's embarrassing, should be a trusted one. Then try to drink glasses of water before you eat to fill you up, then eat your meal and go for the healthy foods too, then take one dessert then hopefully you will be eay too full to eat.How can I take control over holiday desserts when there are so many good things to eat?
Hey if you have been eating healthily and excercising consistently you deserve to splurge. Take a small sampling of each of your favorites! Just don't back of your exercise routine and get back on your normal eating track the next day.
Take a teaspoon of each, leave off the whipped cream. If you are diabetic and can't eat sugar make sure you have a sugar substitute dessert you can eat.

Otherwise make that a level teaspoon.

If you deny yourself all the time you will have a great figure and a lousy disposition.
do not go where they serve it. I do not understand why holidays mean eating. It can mean doing something fun. Go with some friends, or someone close to you somewhere and enjoy yourselves - skating rink, horse riding, or swimming pool, whatever.
Bring a healthy dessert (like fruit) with you when you attend holiday parties so you'll always have something that you're able to eat while you're there. This helps to not feel awkward or be pressured into eating something unhealthy.
During the holidays and Thanksgiving in particular, you don't have to have your mind on calories and losing weight all the time but there are simple steps you can take like eating a salad before the main meal, not having leftovers and moderating the amount of food you eat that will help in reducing overall calories.
