We all know about the bad effect marble slurry leaves on the environment around us.If people know about its beneficial uses there will be no slurry left to seep-in and get mixed with the ground water or get spread in the atmosphere by winds.Let us learn from the learned about it .Then we will educate people and make this world a much better place to live in.How can we make beneficial use of marble slurry to prevent and control the pollution created by it?
Marble slurry contains Calcium Carbonate and it is alkaline. Being alkaline it can be used for neutralizing the acidic solution. Wherever there is a acid slurry going to the waterway we can use this to neutralize it. May be we can filter it and the solids can be recycled to make cement. There should be several uses of it but it may be un economical now to do it, due to the easily availability of marble and the cost of it.How can we make beneficial use of marble slurry to prevent and control the pollution created by it?
It can be use for making moulded statues and white wash.
Are there any coal mines near you? The marble slurry would be useful for neutralizing the acid mine drainage.
